Today marks 365 days of Jasper Golden Nugget wearing our Beast Harness.
When I started designing this harness, I wasn't trying to create just another dog product. I was trying to solve a problem.
Like a lot of dog owners, I had gone through harness after harness. Some were comfortable but not durable. Some were durable but lacked features I wanted. Others simply didn't hold up to the kind of adventures Nugget and I enjoy.
So I sat down and asked myself a simple question:
If I could build the harness I wanted for my own dog, what would it look like?
The answer became the Beast Harness.
Over the past year, Nugget has worn it everywhere.
Morning walks before sunrise.
Neighborhood patrols.
Road trips.
Lake days.
Trail adventures.
Photo shoots.
Camp Clucker inspections.
And more squirrel investigations than I can count.
The real test wasn't how the harness looked on day one.
The real test was how it looked after 365 days.
After a full year of daily use:
✅ No rips
✅ No tears
✅ No broken hardware
✅ No stretched-out straps
✅ No failures
Just one happy Golden Retriever continuing to do what he does best.
The thing I'm most proud of isn't that we built a harness.
It's that we built something we use ourselves every single day.
At Nuggy Dog Co., we don't just sell products. We live with them. We test them. We depend on them. If something doesn't work for Nugget, it doesn't belong in our store.
One year later, I can confidently say the Beast Harness has exceeded every expectation I had when we started.
And judging by the smile on Nugget's face, I think he'd agree.
