Hey y’all, Nugget here.
My full name is Jasper Golden Nugget, but most people just call me Nugget. I’m a Golden Retriever from Georgia, proud co-owner of Nuggy Dog Co., full-time Camp Clucker enthusiast, trail explorer, professional snack hunter, and Dad’s best friend.
A few years ago, I was just a fluffy little pup running around the backyard chasing sticks and causing absolute chaos in the house. Now somehow there are people all over the country following my adventures, carrying Camp Cluckers around for their dogs, and waking up every morning to see what kind of trouble I’m getting into next.
That’s the crazy part about all of this.
None of it was planned.
There wasn’t a giant company behind us. No fancy office. No marketing team sitting around a boardroom table trying to “build a brand.” It started with a guy who loved his dog, a camera, a lot of early mornings, and a belief that people wanted something more real.
That’s where Nuggy Dog Co. came from.
Around here, we believe dogs deserve more than just products sitting on a shelf. They deserve adventures. Trail walks before sunrise. Muddy paws. Lake days. Campfire nights. Squeaky toys at inappropriate hours. The good stuff.
That’s why everything we make gets tested by me first.
If it doesn’t survive my zoomies, random bursts of energy, daily inspections, trail adventures, and occasional bad decisions… it doesn’t make the cut.
Simple as that.
Over time, something really cool started happening. People stopped feeling like customers and started feeling like friends. We started seeing photos of dogs across the country carrying Camp Cluckers, wearing Nuggy Dog Co. gear, hiking trails, relaxing on porches, and living their own version of the Nug Life.
That’s when Dad and I realized this was becoming bigger than products.
It was becoming a community.
And honestly, that means more to us than anything.
The funniest part is people now tell us:
“I Googled Camp Clucker and found you guys.”
“I Googled Nuggy Dog Co.”
“I Googled Jasper Golden Nugget.”
So naturally, I decided to lean into it a little bit. 😎
“Just Google Me.”
It’s a joke… but it’s also kind of true now.
Not because we’re trying to be famous. Not because we think we’re bigger than anybody else. But because every single post, every order packed late at night, every sunrise hike, every goofy video, every review, and every moment shared with this community helped build something real.
That matters to us.
At the end of the day, this whole thing is still just about a dog and his dad trying to make people smile while building products we actually believe in.
No fake hype.
No pretending.
No shortcuts.
Just living the Nug Life one day at a time.
