There’s something different about Sunday mornings.
The world slows down a little. The air feels quieter. The coffee tastes better. And for a couple of hours, it’s just me and Nugget out on the trail doing what we’ve always done together.
That’s really where the idea for Sundays with Nugget and Dad came from.
Not from a content strategy meeting.
Not from chasing views.
Not from trying to go viral.
Just a realization that some of the best moments in life happen during simple walks with your dog.
For a long time, most people have only seen the short-form side of our world — quick funny clips, Camp Clucker chaos, gear videos, memes, and daily moments from life with Nugget. And while that’s a huge part of who we are, there’s another side too.
The quiet side.
The early mornings.
The conversations on the trail.
The pauses to watch a blue heron standing in the water.
The moments where life slows down enough for you to actually think again.
That’s what this series is about.
Nuggy Dog Co. was never built in a boardroom. It was built during real walks, real hikes, real adventures, and everyday life with a Golden Retriever who changed my life. Every product we create comes from those experiences. The harnesses, lights, leashes, bowls, toys — they all started with us simply spending time outdoors together and learning what actually works.
And honestly, that’s why this long-form series feels important to me.
It gives us a chance to show the “under the hood” side of the brand. No loud edits. No fake hype. No pretending to be something we’re not. Just a guy, his dog, a camera, and whatever happens out there on the trail that morning.
Real life.
I think people are craving more of that these days.
The response to Episode 1 honestly meant a lot to us. Seeing people connect with the slower pace, the conversations, and the peaceful atmosphere reminded me why we started sharing our journey in the first place.
So this is something we’re going to keep building.
More hikes.
More conversations.
More sunrises.
More real moments with Nugget.
Because at the end of the day, this whole journey started with one simple truth:
Life is better when you spend more time with your dog.
